Card & Gift Store? Really?!?

Card & Gift Store? Really?!?

Why We Opened Gifted Gifts Galore in Miller Place, NY

Sometimes, the best opportunities come when you least expect them. For us, the story of Gifted Gifts Galore began with an ordinary night out. Walking out of Applebee’s, we noticed something different—Rite Aid, a neighborhood fixture, had closed its doors. It made us wonder: What could this space become?

At first, our idea was completely different. We were exploring the possibility of opening an indoor pickleball court. When we called the landlord to inquire, they mentioned the former card store next door. They called it “the hottest property in town” and suggested it might work as an annex for our office. That piqued my interest. The space had potential, but the landlord made it clear we’d have to decide quickly.

That night, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The location, the opportunity—it felt like something worth exploring. The next day, I called a trusted friend’s dad, who happens to own 20 card stores, and asked him to check out the location.

The following day, he called back with excitement in his voice. “It’s great,” he said. “Not good—great. If you can secure this, you should.”

That sealed the deal. Sometimes, all it takes is a nudge from someone you trust to follow your instincts. Within days, we made the decision to move forward, and the vision for Gifted Gifts Galore began to take shape.

We knew we wanted to create more than just another store. Our goal was to build a place where people could find thoughtfully sourced, unique gifts that bring joy to their loved ones. And Miller Place, with its charm and close-knit community, felt like the perfect home for this dream.

Today, Gifted Gifts Galore is more than just a shop. It’s a family adventure, a labor of love, and a space filled with treasures for everyone. We’re proud to be part of this incredible community and so grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received.

Stop by and see us sometime—you never know what meaningful find awaits you!
